Today, Technologické centrum, a.s., is one of the leading companies in the Czech Republic in the field of sheet-metal working laser-cutting and CNC bending technologies.
The main product items are services in the area of laser cutting, production of cut parts according to specifications and possible treatment of cut parts, such as bending, drilling or assembling of cut parts into units (e.g. fireplaces etc.). In the case of an order of a single product or service, it is necessary to work out a complete technology according to customer’s specifications at first. After the order has been processed, Infor ERP SyteLine immediately helps generate orders for needed material and plan production. Simultaneously, it enables, with the help of APS, to regulate deadlines for orders according to repletion of capacities of the key bottleneck, which can be, according to the character of orders, floating in the respective period. Various orders can be cut from the same material, therefore, together with the other ones. For their easier performance and division of cost as well as for capacity planning, the technology of co-products is used.
For the customers who repeatedly order cut parts or completed assemblies, it is not necessary to process the technology again, the material can be, thanks to the system, basically ordered at the moment of insertion of the order into the system with the help of automatically generated purchase orders. Utilization of the co-product technology eases production performance and division of costs into individual components as well as of various orders cut together. These orders are controlled according to the capacity utilization of the bottlenecks thanks to the system planning.
