The joint-stock company Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod, founded in 1936, was originally mainly focused on small arms production for the military. Over time, production was expanded to include products for civilian use, both in the sporting and hunting fields. Today, Česká zbrojovka is one of the world’s foremost small arms producers, as testified by sales to around 100 countries worldwide. It engages in the development and production of pistols, rifles, small-bore rifles, shotguns and air guns. Česká zbrojovka also manufactures and supplies its customers with engineering products, parts and assemblies intended mainly for the aerospace and automotive industries and special tools for the engineering industry.
